Victorie felt familiarity, but she couldn't explain it. She heard hsi words and nodded as she took a seat next to him. She then gave a small smile as she spoke, "Forgive me, I just...I don't know." She gave a small alugh and took a sip of the btutterbeer. She wondered who she was flirting with. She had Teddy. There was no need to flirt and ill represent anything. She looked down and then felt guilty for a moment. She flushed under her mask and then she streched her back a bit as she looked aorund and watched the couples dancing.

Teddy felt a strong pull toward this girl. However, he couldn't really explain it. He just felt comfortable around her. So he said causally, "You can call me Harry. What can I call you? Not your real name, obviously." He gave a smile to her. "It's quite alright. You couldn't know. I'm just here to chaperone, mostly."
Her voice, like everyone else's, sounded strange. Although for all Teddy knew, this could be her real voice. He glanced at the clock. It was nearing eleven now, and he was anxious for midnight to hit so he could go find Victorie. He missed her something fierce, and here he was, making small talk with a stranger. He had Victorie, and she would be mad if she knew he had even thought of flirting with someone else.

Vic sighed gently as she sat at the side of this man whom she did not know who he was. She smiled as she sipped the butterebeer and spoke, "You may call me Molly. I alo am a chaperone. I work at the school." The spell made her avoid saying anythign more. She then ran a hand through her hair gently and smiled to the man. As he glimpsed to the clock she followed his gaze and smiled as she spoke, "You are waiting for midnight to find someone, yes?"
She felt a little sad at the realiztion about the man, but she had Teddy. She shook the thoughts from her head as she thought of Teddy and how happy he was with him. That was what she neeeded to focus on. Goodness only kneew what Teddy might do if the clock stuck midnigh and he found her with anothere man.

A small 5'6 girl stepped threw the entrance, late. "Wow.." She breathed. Her short blue strapless swirled with her body as she stepped, like a little fairy, into the ball. Her hands clenching and un-clenching in embarrassment. Her blue and silver mask, covering her nose and most of her upper face, hiding her from the people's know how. Looking down slightly, she stared at her running shoes, with small blue and silver socks, and her wand, all together. She smiled. No one, not even her mother, could get her to wear high heels. "Oh... sorry." Jordan whispered, as she bumped into someone, before she could hear a reply she started to move quickly across the dance floor away from the refreshment table. "Jeez, I hate dances..." She muttered aloud, looking around, only to find a single inhabited table. Jordan sighed, and sat down, smoothing out the wrinkles in her dress. Her blue eyes sparkled gently as she sniffed the smell. Fear gripped her sides, she didn't want to stay until midnight, she would be more embarrassed if, some total stranger walked up to her and asked her to dance. And here she was. 'Dear lord, safe me.' She thought as she looked around softly, her lips forming a straight line, nearing a frown. 'I hate dances... why do we have them?' She questioned the school in her mind. Shaking her head, her hair, which was laying straight, and hung about the middle of her back, flew around and she softly giggled. Information:-Okay, sorry I have the share the shoes! Just cause she'll be wearing them in every role-play I post in. -.^ [Shoes:] My Click[Note:] Okay I wasn't sure what to put, so this is the best yeah get at the moment. Plus it's like 7:30 in the morning. Okay so, what's happening now... ?? Confused. Also, I don't get the Halloween Ball rules what do you mean showing your dress or mask?

Scorpius gracefully took the girl's hand and led her to the dance floor. The song was a slow one, and he placed one hand on the girl's shoulder while putting the other on her waist. Slowly but surely, they began to slow-dance. Scorpius' mind drifted a bit as he danced with the beautiful redhead. She had the same fiery red hair as Rose and Lily, but then, half the people here tonight looked like they could pass for Weasleys.
He spun her slowly, before doing a dip with her in his arms. Scorpius wished that this girl was Rose, as she was a divine dancer. He took a closer look at her and what she wore. She had incredidble blue eyes, and wore a pearl-white gown. Her mask was also pearl-white, white only drew him to those blue eyes. Finishing the song, he led her back to the refreshment table and gave a slight bow. "You dance well, my lady."
((Look in your PM for those answers, Snakey.))

"Because the school wants us to mingle without the prejudiced of the houses." Heath muttered, coming to stand beside the table after seeing a lone person. Many of the people were already talking in group and Heath really didn't feel like just standing there with nothing to do. He looked down at her and smirked. "Nice to meet you." He nodded his head towards her and would have tipped his hat if he could have. His mother had taught him manners, maybe since his father had been such a rogue and hadn't show her many manners. The most he gave Heath and his mother, was giving Heath a last name.
His lips curved ever so slightly at the sound of her giggle and raised an eyebrow as he looked at her. She did look ridiculous when she did that, and maybe it felt funny for her since she felt what she was doing rather than just seeing it. "Do you mind I sit with you, or would you prefer for me to get lost?" He asked, sitting down without really waiting for her to answer him. If she said no, well maybe he would get up but he wouldn't put it past anyone to do so. He would just have to get up, wouldn't he?

Rose concentrated on the steps and moving gracefully like her Aunt Fleur had taught her to do. Rose felt herself relaxed in his presence anyway, so maybe she had once met the person she was with. When he placed a hand on her waist, she thought about Scorpius...if only the man before her was Scorpius then she wouldn't feel so awkward when she was dancing with him. "You don't do so bad yourself." She replied as he lead her away from the dance floor.
She continued to look around for Scorpius as they stopped. She curtsied to him out of politeness, and smiled. "Thank you for the dance." She stated, wondering what time it was. It couldn't be near eleven, but yet she wished for it to be close to midnight. The sooner the better. After that, there was only an house left to dance with Scorpius and she wished to have that moment last forever.

She gulped, and smiled shyly at the male figure before her. Not having a idea who he was she sighed. No one knew it was her, so she shouldn't be shy right? "I know, it's just, why can't people have small get togethers, rather than dressing up in dresses and such." Jordan muttered in anger as she used her arms to wave at her own dress. "Lucky I got dressed up too, I was about to come down here in jeans and a tee-shirt." Jordan said, smiling slightly as he greeted her. "Nice to meet you too... um Stranger." She added, looking at him, as he nodded his head. She flushed a pale pink, and touched her hair nervously. She watched his lips curve, as in struggle not to smile at her as she had giggled at her hair. Shaking her head again, she let the hair fall down, some covering her silver and dark blue mask. Blinking her light blue eyes at the man in front of her, she nodded. She didn't answer him at first, seeing as he already sat down by himself. "I don't mind... hmm... I hate balls like this, cause you don't know who's who, and..." She sighed angrily. "I mean, you could be talking with the very person your falling in love with, or worst... your enemy!" She said, shaking her head slightly, looking away from the man, boy? beside her. "So stranger, danced with any lucky ladies yet?" She was bored, and since having very few friends, and the few she had, happened to be guys, she just took a small liking to boy talk. She started smoothing her strapless blue dress again, pulling it up slightly, so it wouldn't drop down past her breast. "I hate dresses...." She whispered under her breath, hoping the man (boy?) beside her didn't hear. She shrugged softly, and brought up her leg slightly to peer at her running shoes. They were blue and silver, with white laces. 'Hmm... I wonder when midnight will come along, maybe I can just jump around yelling who I am and ditch this place.' She thought as she looked back at the person beside her.
Information [Notes] I like to say, thanks Scorpius/Crystal for the pm, and I replied ^.^ Oh and I do hate dresses... and balls -.- XD not very lively am I.

Teddy sighed as well as the girl beside him sipped her butterbeer. Molly, she had called herself. He nodded and replied, "I also work at the school. Thus I am stuck being a chaperone." He gave a small smile. "Yes, I am waiting for my love..." But that was all he could get out. The name Victorie would not pass his lips. Nor would Vic, Vikki, or any other form of her name.
Teddy supposed it was the magic in the room. It had to be. He placed his hand on her arm in a purely friendly gesture and said, "I take it you are waiting for someone as well? It's a bit past eleven now, and I can't wait until midnight. Then I intend to find my girlfriend and kiss her under the fireworks." He shrugged. "What about you, Molly?"
((LOL Snakey. That's OK, not everyone is. Heath isn't either. Oh, and there's a spell on the room, so everyone's voice is different. And people have glamored their hair and eye color. So no fair recognizing someone by their hair, eyes, or voice. ))

"I think that's the point." Heath said, commented on the part of you might be talking to any one. "Think about it this way. A Slytherin may be stuck up and snotty, but then he doesn't know who anyone is in this place and will be social with no one, or everyone. He won't know the difference and you can see the person who they really are, instead of the person everyone makes them out to be." Heath smirked at his wisdom. "As for the dresses, it's an old custom of the times before us. There weren't jeans or anything other than dresses and I suppose people just like going about in dresses that make them look better. "Call me Grey by the way. What can I call you?" Nice twist of Heath Greyback if he did say so himself.

She chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Good point, Mr. Wise." She said, noting her small joke, although it wasn't funny. She listen half heartly to his speak, and only jumped in to groan. "Jeez, women from the past life, should of wore something better than dresses, I mean, horrible, and they don't even work with me." She complained, and than slightly, and silently, she winked from her mask, "I can give you my word, that this dress will never be seen again, it'll be gray with ash by the time i'm done with it." She wanted to smack her fore-head at how stupid she was being, but nodded. "Well Grey, call me Dove." She said, remembering her favorite type of muggle bird. "So Grey, how are you classes coming along?" She asked, trying to start up a confersation.
Her eyes danced around the hall, and landed on two people who had just pulled away. (Scorpius and Rose). "Come on, I have to dance once, and I need a partner." She said, forgetting the question she had asked Grey. Climbing to her feet, she took out her hands and stretched them out for the boy to grasp. "Come on, one dance, I have to at least show, and prove to some people I can dance." She said, thinking again at how few of her friends made fun of her female dancing skills. "But of course, if you don't want to..." She started, looking at her blue and silver running shoes. Her eyes lingered back to the boy's face, which was covered by the mask he wore.

Heath smirked and shrugged. "I agree, hides the legs from view." He grinned and took out his wand, levitating two cups of punch towards them. Might as well use magic, he didn't feel like leaving this conversation. "Though, I think it was to show the difference between male and female, as if it wasn't obvious." He rolled his eyes took a drink out of his cup. "I don't usually come to these things anyway, mostly I come so I can get into the afterparty that usually happens." He admitted, though not with shame. She didn't like it either, and who was he to hide his distaste in such affairs. "That's too bad, you look stunning in it." He commented, smiling at her. "Dove, sounds pure and white. How contradictory that is to what I already know of you, then again. Maybe you like being contrary."
Heath shrugged. "I don't mind." He said, standing and setting his drink down without aid. Offering his arm like a gentleman, he smiled. "To the dance." He announced softly, actually dreading the moments ahead. He could dance, not to perfection but he had at least paid attention to the lessons they were taught. He had once even practiced with his mother over the summer so he wasn't horrible either. He looked down at her feet and a large smile spread over his features. "At least your wearing sensible shoes, something the rest of them didn't think of."

She smirked with him, taking the glass, taking a swing of it, and putting it down. She chuckled at his legs comment and shrugged at his next. "True, true." She said, smiling shyly. Listening to him comment on the after party she chuckled. "Yes, the after parties, are were a bunch of hormonal teenagers get drunk and do things the will regret." She shuttered slightly, and with a small smile, she blushed a bright tomato red. "Em... thanks... one of the few that think so..." She said, looking away, still slightly blushing. Taking a deep breath, she nodded. "Ha, we have different views of the name Dove. I for one see it as peaceful and loveable. We all know I'm loveable." She rolled her eyes and chuckled. "I'm kidding of course." Stretching slightly, only to quickly pull her dress up slightly.
She flushed again, although she had asked him, she thought it funny that he accept. "I'm warning you though, I suck, I mean, I've had dancing lessions, but by god, I've never learn a thing." She said, taking his arm gently. Walking out into the dance floor, she let go of his arm and twirled. "Thanks, My shoes are remarkable. My mom got them made for me, and me alone... you could say there, 'My real name' Shoes." She chuckled and listened to the next slow song. And softly giggled, looking at him and smiled. "I hope you know how to dance, cause if you don't, we'll both make fools of our selves." She smiled shyly again, and added, "At least we'll be fools together right."

"If they get drunk they do those things, though I won't say that all of those things are bad. I rather enjoyed many of those parties. I don't get as drunk as they do." He could remember each party afterward, and his head didn't hurt nearly as bad as he did. After getting hung over once, he didn't want a repeat. It was terribly unpleasant. "One of the few that see real beauty." He said, running a hand through his hair and grinning at her. "Peace and loveable..." He repeated, raising an eyebrow at her. "From what I've heard from you, I wouldn't guess your not exactly the peaceful type, are you?"
"It's the guy's fault if a girl's falls." Heath informed her, pulling her close against him. "If you wish you can step on my feet if you think it will help." He moved his hand to her lower back, another one on he guided her with. Moving across the dance floor, he made sure they stayed on the edges in case of an accident. He laughed and shook his head as she spoke of her shoes. Nice cover...'my real name'... "I know a little bit, enough to stop us from looking like fools hopefully. Maybe we can just sway on the outer edges?"

Jordan nodded. "Drunk people are funny though." She started but than stopped herself short and smiled. "Well while were talking drinking, I'll just say, once in a while I chug rum." She said, shyly smiling at the Grey. She blinked and smiled at her grandfather giving her a sip. "My grandfather got me hooked. Although I can still taste the soap from my mother in my mouth." She stuck out her tongue, she hated it when her mother put a bar of soap in her mouth, and it wasn't the pretty smelling kind either. Blinking at the boy in front of her again, she smiled. "I'm more or less, living two lives Grey. I play the girl who doesn't know what to do, suck between hiding and crying. To the girl who's out there on her broom beating the hell out of people." Her eyes closed for a moment as he drew her nearer. She shivered.
"I rather take the blame for falling, I'd more in likely laugh my arse off." She said, drawing her free arm around Grey's neck, and holding her other hand with his. She felt his other hand touch her lower back, and she looked up in surprise. They were moving around and she smiled brightly, her eyes shinning brightly."Swaying, I can do that." She said with a soft gentle smile, her eyes trained on his face. Than a idea poped into her head. "So Grey, since we have been talking non-stop about random facts, shall I ask how your day has been?" She said, smiling gently at the man holding her in place. She followed his lead swaying slightly. Her eyes, still hadn't left his face. 'I can't wait till midnight!' She thought sudden.
