Life was always on and off with Teddy because of his profession. they have had their moments and they were always busy in one way or another. Since he was a dual spy Victorie never was sure where his loyalties lied. She hoped they were truly with them, but even she ahd questioned the facts with ehr oldest friend sometimes. Victorie loved Teddy with all her heart and after the recent pregnancy scare, that he didn't know about, but she knew that there was life to be had and used. Victorie would always love him, but she wished he'd seen the same.
Vic was on her lunch break, and she had made her way to the Hospital Wing to see him. She leaned in the doorway and looked as he took care fo a student. She smiled a bit as she came in and sat cross legged on a bed. Once he'd gotten a moment she looked up to him when he came over and spoke, "Please, tell me your nurse didn't tell you." She'd prayed that the nurse she'd seen hadn't told Teddy about the pregnancy scare. She prayed and hoped that he had no idea that victorie worried that they were going to have a child. One that they would have had to hide form the world because she was who she was.
Teddy was a spy, and it was for that reason that he never would be able to marry her and never would be able to offically be with her. She would give his dual roles away. Victorie tried to hide that it hurt as much as possible. She tried to ignore that students would come to see him "hurt" just to be treated by the hot guy. She tried to do everythign right, but she still loved him and she still wanted a life with him. Victorie knew what this meant to him though, but she'd wished she'd meant as much. Victorie wished to kill the witch, her long related cousin, just to get revenge for Teddy. One day, if she would ever get the chance, she'd kill that woman and marry Teddy.

Teddy was in his bedroom at the moment, deciding what to wear under his robes. As a member of the Hogwarts staff, his robes were plain black with the Hogwarts crest on the right breast pocket. Students had their House crest there, but professors were neutral, thus the Hogwarts crest. Or were supposed to be. Teddy snorted. Yeah right. Half of them don't care either way, and the other half are all about their Houses winning, he thought.
Finally, he decided on an Ozzy Osbourne t-shirt over black jeans. He threw on his trainers, which were black with black laces, and tied them before standing up again. He looked in the mirror and grinned. Normally, he just shook his hair into place, but today he was going to see Victorie. His heart skipped a beat. She was so beautiful, but due to his profession, they could never be openly together.
He envied Rose. He had seen her and the Malfoy boy glancing at each other longingly...and whenever one came to the hospital wing, the other one was there too. For 'moral support'. He wished those two all the happiness that he couldn't have, and hoped they hooked up. Not that that was anything new to him, being an orphan. He looked at his hair before deciding to make it short and spiky. After turning it turquoise, he headed out the door, locking it behind him.

Victorie was sitting on the bed when he came out. She gave him a smile and then ran a hand through her hair. She waited till he approached and then she ran another hand through her hair a bit nervously. Victorie loved Teddy and she did not doubt that one bit. She'd always loved Teddy and she always would. This war would end and then she'd get him...she hoped. Victorie waited till he got cloaser and then she relaxed as she spoke, "Hi, Teddy." She noticed his bright tourquois hair and grinned again.
After a bit Victorie cleared her throat. She'd come in here only a few days before to see the nurse about the possibility of being pregnant. Sure, she and Teddy had only been together once, but they hadn't been compeltely safe. Victorie flushed at the idea of it all. She then felt herself turning a bit red. She looked up and then asked, "Teddy, did your nurse tell you what happened?" Victorie wasn't going to admit it had she not, but vic hoped the lady kept her promise and did not say anything to anyone.

Teddy gave her a big grin. God, how he wanted to be with her. He longed to start a family, since he didn't have one anymore. He had his godfather, Harry, but he was too busy with his own family these days. But anyways...he loved Victorie. And he was sure she loved him. They had been together...in that way. OK, so it was only once, but still. Looking into her eyes, he said in a deep voice, "Hey Vikki."
He sat on a bed across from her and waited for her to speak. When she cleared her throat, he leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees. Propping his head on his hands, he tilted it to the left and let his spikes fall forward. Then he said, "No, she didn't. And she usually tells me if someone comes in, but not what for. So, what's going on, Victorie?"

It was at that moent that Victorie realized she shouldn't have said anything. She cursed herself in a soft voice as she looked up to him. She gulped a bit and then shook her head. If he didn't know, then she'd no need to worry him. She shouldn't worry him. Teddy ahd enough on his plate as it was. He'd needed to worry about Death Eaters and Order Members killing him everyday. Victorie shook her head again only this time to rid of tears.''
Vic looked to Teddy and whispered, "It was nothing. I'd just come in for a check up and asked her not to say anything to you." One look into Vics eyes and Teddy would know she was lying. So, Victorie looked down and attempted to not let him see the lies. She then made the mistake and looked up. Her love was shown there whether he saw it or not. On top of that he could see clearly that she was lying. She grumbled a bit and whispered, "I hate this, Teddy." She took his left arm and ladi her palm, on top of his robes, over where the dark mark was hidden and whispered again, "I hate this."
Victorie was the head of the order, and there was no way she could be seen loving someone like him. They'd have her killed in an instant. So, Victorie had decided after this last pregnantcy scare that she was going to start dating some quidditch player just to keep the rumors died down. Vic left her hand on his arm and just tried to let it all sink in.

Teddy frowned. His gut told him she was lying, or at least not telling the whole truth. He had known Victorie for far too long to be fooled all the way. No...it's a lie, he thought. He placed his other hand on Victorie's and said quietly, "Vikki, why are you lying to me? Really? I know we can't ever be together officially until the war is over, but I've known you for far too long to be fooled."
Teddy unconsciously shuddered as she touched the spot where the Dark Mark was hidden. God, how he hated that bloody Mark. But it was necessary to maintain his cover as a Death Eater. Of course, very few of the Order members besides Victorie knew about his status as a spy. He was thinking about changing that, as he didn't need to be killed by friendly fire. So he said, "I'll ask you again...what's wrong, Vikki?"

Vic felt his hand touch hers over his mark and he looked up to her. She shook her head again as she spoke, "Because the first time I am terrified of telling you the truth, Teddy." Victorie pushed back the tears in her eyes and then blinked a few times to be sure that they were in the back of her head. She gulped a bit as she just relised in the small touches he was able to give her at this moment.
Victorie heard him ask again, and she'd considered giving him the same answer. She knew though that would only make him loose his trust in her. Here she was the head of the Order and she loved a Death Eater. A man who would have to kill to pose as someone he never ever was or should be. Victorie shuttered at the idea and wondered if he was face to face with her in a battle what he would do. If he did not kill her, then he'd be killed. Victorie blinked a few times and whispered, "I'd thought I was pregant." It was a very soft whisper so no others heard as she continued on, "I hadn't started...and I still haven't, but the nurse says I'm not." She looked into his face and was honest, "I'm going to start seeing someone to keep your cover...."

Teddy stroked Victoire's hair soothingly. "Oh, Vikki. You know you can tell me anything. I won't judge you." He had a few tears in his own eyes, but he fought them back. He couldn't-and wouldn't-let hurt come to harm. He'd die first. It's a sad day when I'm prevented from being with my love just because I happen to be a spy, he thought.
Teddy wondered for a moment what he would do should he ever come face to face with Victorie on the battlefield. He voiced this thought aloud before adding, "Vikki, the only way I could see you on the battlefield and not blow either of our covers would be to Stun you. I mean, they'd never expect that from a medium-ranked Death Eater. And curses would be flying everywhere; who's to know one of the Stunning spells was mine?"
He felt his jaw hit the floor as Victorie told him her news. "Really? You are? Or thought you were? That's..." He searched for an appropriate word. "...unexpected." We'll have to be more careful in the future. If there is a future, he thought.
Teddy's heart clenched when she spoke about seeing someone else. "OK, Vikki. I really, really don't like it, but I know it's necessary. And maybe I should start dating another Death Eater then, yes? To keep my cover?" He looked into her eyes before adding, "I assure you my heart won't be in it."

Victorie heard his words about stunning her and then she looked him into the face. She bit her lip and then looked down again shaking her head. She could only whisper, "Teddy, if anyone sees us or finds out.....They will have your task be to kill me." She gulped a bit and moved her hands away form himas she stuck them between her legs so she wouldn't touch him as she spoke, "If it is for the cause and you have to Teddy, then do it. Don't blow your cover. Promise me this...please, Teddy." She looked him in he eye with all seriousness as she waited.
His jaw draped and Victorie could only flush a bit. She nodded as she spoke, "Well, no I don't think so. I still haven't had my monthly visitor yet, but your nurse said I wasn't...did...would you want to double check?" Vic felt a bit nervous as she asked the question. She knew this could be the biggest turning point of their lives. Hia next words only made her whimper and try to hide herself from him more. She looked at him and spoke, "Nor will my heart with whomeever he is....."

Teddy bit his own lip and looked down briefly before looking into her eyes again and touched her arm. He managed to choke out, "Don't worry about it, Vikki. There are ways to be hidden, to ensure that Victorie Weasley ceases to exist. Potions that make you appear to be dead until given the antidote and such. Plus charms to change your appearance and the like."
He shook his head. "I can't promise that, Vikki. Better to be dead then without you." Teddy frowned. "Well, I suppose so. I don't know all the details of a woman's monthly visitor, but I do know sometimes you can be up to two weeks late and not be...pregnant." His tongue tripped over the word 'pregnant'. He spoke again. "You still haven't answered my question. Should I start seeing a Death Eater?"

Victorie looked up to Teddy and nodded as she spoke, "I know, but you do whatever you have to do, Teddy. You know I won't blame you for anything you have to do." Victorie looked up to him seriously as she sighed and then let her hands fall. She then got up and pulled the curtain around the bed so no one could see in. She casted a charm to silence everything. She then sat back on the bed next to him and looked into his eyes as she whispered, "It is so hard knowing that we cannot follow our heart and we have to play this game, but Teddy....don't let them kill you, please."
Victorie cleared her throat and nodded as she spoke, "I know that there are other things that could be wrong, but....would you just double check and be sure that I am not pregnant and see if I am injured or something...." Victorie heard his question again and she looked down to her hands as they held each other in her lap. She then looked up and whispered, "You do what you must to come back to me and to be with me when this war is over, Teddy Lupin." She felt her ears go a bit red as she stayed looking down. Her pink highlighted hair falling over from behind her ear.
((OOC: I'll leave it up to you to dramatize it more and make her prenangt or not))

Teddy let Victorie's hand fall away from his as she spoke. As she pulled the curtain around the bed, his hair darkened to black, a sign that he was depressed. The students all knew he was a Metamorphagus, but just thought it was cool. They didn't know what certain hair colors meant. Well, except red. When it went red, that was a sure sign that he was upset, or frustrated.
After she cast the charm, he sighed with relief. Not no one would hear them. He should have done that to begin with. He shook his head. "I'll fight them tooth and nail, baby. They won't take me down easy." At her request, he pulled out his wand and muttered under his breath before waving it over her stomach. As green sparks came out, he frowned and did it again. Again, green sparks came out.
He shook his head sadly. "I don't know how to tell you this, Vikki, but she was wrong. You're pregnant." He wasn't sure whether to be happy or sad. It was great that they had a child together, but it had come at a most inopportune time. There was a war on, and now he'd have to marry her, which would blow her cover. Pasting on a happy smile, he got down on one knee. "I don't have a ring, but Victorie Weasley...would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Victorie turned and when she heard his words that he'd fight tooth and nail she got even more worried. At the small pet name added onto the end though she felt butterflies in her stomach and she covered it. She let her hands fall moments later to tilt his chin to look at her as she spoke, "I know you would." She then watched as he preformed the spell again. When she saw the sparks her eye brows came together. She then shook her head as she saw green sparks again and again.
When she looked up to ask what the sparks meant she saw his hair was black as night. She knew that color and she knew that Teddy was depressed. He then went on to tell her that she was indeed pregnant and she looked wide eyed to her lover. She then saw him move and she went to stop him. This was all happening too quick. They needed to talk about this. VictorieSaw the fake smile that Teddy had and she knew. She stepped back away from him and felt tears cominging into her eyes.
Victorie shook her head in the negative and lightly, barely audibly, whispered, "No." As if that one two letter word took all the strength fromher Victorie cumbled like anavalanche to her knees on the floor. She coveredher face as she spoke, through her hands, "Teddy, I cannot let you blow your cover. If we do that then your life, my life, and our child's life willl be in more danger."
Victorie peered with tear stained eyes and face to him as she continued, "I will tell people I do not know whothe father is or that it is some Muiggle....and youdate your witch. We need to protect him or her, Teddy." Vic leaned in and kissed his temple and whispered, "Under any other circumstances I would have said yes, Teddy Lupin. That nothing in this world could make me haqppier than to be your wife, and that I love you."

Teddy's face crumpled as Victorie gave her answer. Letting out a howl of rage, he slammed his fist into the wall again and again until his hand bled. His chest heaving, he stepped back and repaired the wall before fixing his hand. Going to wash it off, he tried to calm down. It wasn't Victoire's fault. It was this damned war...
Returning to her side, Teddy took a deep, shuddery breath. "It's not fair. It's just not fair. Even the Death Eaters get to marry, have kids, and find happiness. Why can't we?" He placed his hands on his hair, gripping it tightly. "This is bullshit!" He screamed the last word, his face turned away from Victorie so as not to yell in her ear.
Walking away from Victorie, Teddy took a seat on the closet bed. What she said made sense. And she had said 'under any other circumstances', she would be his wife. Fine. So be it. He would just have to take out the head Death Eater. Take him out, and like dominoes they fall, he thought. Facing Victorie once more, he said, "But what if it's a Metamorphmagus? That's kind of a giveaway...we're not exactly common. Plus, it seems to be a dominant trait in kids."
