Victorie ran up from the Quidditch Pitch where she'd finished teaching her class. It was the first break she'd had and she knew she had to tell him. She loved him and she didn't want to go without him. Victorie ran into the room and she saw Teddy standing there. No one was in the wing, so she grabbed his arm and dragged him back to his room. She shut the door and put a silencing charm on the room. She intertwined the fingers on their hands and looked into his eyes.
Vic smiled and then after a moment she began to speak, "Have a quiet wedding with me at Grandmum and Granddad's house. We'll invite the family and no one else. We will keep it quiet and not tell anyone. I've looked into it. I have enough saved for us to get a house - our own home. We can ask Uncle Harry to be our Secret Keeper. Teddy, I can't do this without you, and I can't lie.....I need you to be with me through this. I can go back to being an Auror. I'm trained for it. Teddy, I need you." She was near tears as she finsihed and gripped his hand. Her other hand moving through her hair.

Teddy was walking out of the hospital wing, his mind still on their earlier conversation. His thoughts full of Victorie, he looked up and saw her rushing toward him. He barely had time to say "What the...." before she dragged him into his room. As she intertwined their fingers, he stayed silent and waited for Vikki to speak.
And a good thing too, because what she said next shocked him to his core. Wedding? Secret-Keeper? Teddy was thrilled, but worried at the same time. He backed up a little and frowned. "Who are you and what have you done with Victorie Weasley?" This struck him as suspicious. First she talked of their covers and told him no, and now this? Something wasn't right here. He decided to test her. "Which werewolf bit my father?" The answer was Fenrir Greyback, and only the real Victorie would know that.

Victorie noticed how shocked that Teddy was and she laughed a bit. She noticed that he was asking tons of questions and then she laughed a bit more. She leaned up and pressed ehr kiss to his lips as she spoe with a cocky smile, "Fenrir Greyback, silly!" She leaned up and kissed him again good and deep. She intertwined their fingers as she spoke, "Teddy, what I had to say drove me insane and I - I can't live without you, Teddy. I have to be your wife and this child needs hs or her father."

Teddy sighed with relief. It was the real Victorie. He kissed her back and said, "Baby, I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear that. And how good to know that it's really you. I seriously thought you might be an impostor for a moment." He let her intertwine her fingers with his as she spoke.
After she was done, he smiled at his new fiancee. "Of course I will, my love. But what about our covers, as you said? I'm a fairly high-ranking Death Eater, and you're head of the Order. Plus, we have our jobs at Hogwarts to think of. We can't just leave. The last people who left the Dark Lord's service ended up dead. And This one's worse than Lord Voldemort." Teddy shuddered just thinking about that.
Teddy paused before continuing. "As to Uncle Harry, he's had enough problems in his life, don't you think? And his parents did that, so he will be a suspect. We could use Rose or..." He snapped his fingers. "The Malfoy boy! Scorpius! I've seen that boy and Rose together at meals, and a closer pair you couldn't find. And he's nothing like the rest of his family...hates the Dark Arts. Plus, no one would ever think a Weasley would use a Malfoy for anything. He's perfect. And when you have two Secret-Keepers, you have to find and get the secret out of both of them, not just one." He grinned, pleased with himself.

Victorie grinned gently as she kissed him again and again. She truly couldn't get enough of him. She then pulled away as she spoke, "No, it is me. I am not an imposter. I just....I cannot do this alone."
Victorie thought about hwo to talk about it and then she tooka deep breath as she spoke, "Mine is not a cover, Teddy. My position is real, and I will forever be a member and head of the Order. I do not care what risk it puts me at. Teddy, I am going to quit Hogwarts, and you can keep your job here. I will go back to being an Auror or a Quidditch Referee. Teddy, I...I can't do this alone. We will marry and live in secret and hide. We have to do this."
She heard hsi next words and she stopped. She questioned it for a moment. She took a deep breath and then nodded in agreement. She wanted this and she knew that this was what was going to be best with him. She leaned forward, took hsi face in ehr hands, and kissed him deeply. She then pulled away and spoke, "Yes."

Teddy kissed her back. She was like a drug, and him a junkie. He couldn't get enough of Victorie. He looked sad as he spoke. "Hogwarts won't be the same without you, Vikki. It really won't. As to me, I will always be a member of the Order as well."
Teddy knew that Victorie would always be head of the Order. It was a job that was important to her. He shook his head. "Please, be a Quidditch referee, Vikki. An Auror is too dangerous. They both pay well, and at least I won't have to worry about you so." He gave her a hug. "Where were you thinking of living? And yes to what? To Rose? To the Malfoy boy? What?" He put his face in her hands and held hers in his. As the kissed, he sighed. For once in his life, Theodore Remus Lupin was happy.

Vic sighed gently as she leaned in and kissed Teddy again. She loved that she was with him and could be relaxed with him. She cuddled into his arms as he spoke. She sighed a bit as she looked to him and then continued, "I know that Hogwarts won't be the same, but you will see me every night. You can come homee to me and out child and spend time with use whenever you aren't here or with...them." Of course by them she meant the Death Eaters. Shee looked up and smiled. She couldn't have felt safer or more secure in Teddy's arms.
He begged her to be a ref and Vic wasn't sure that was safe either. She ran a ahnd over her belly and nodded though. She would do as he asked, but maybe she would just secretly do some odd and end jobs as an Auror. Vic smiled a bit as she listened to him and spoke, "Yes to Scorpious and Rose. You are right having two is safer. I figured somewhere in Hogsmeeade or another close little town. I want you to have easy access to being at home. I want you there as much as possible." victorie grinned and kissed him again her heart alit with fire.

Teddy was certainly a happy camper at the moment. Victorie had agreed to be his wife and nothing else mattered right now. Walking over to the bed, he gently pulled her along with him and sat down, pulling her into his lap. Then he proceeded to kiss her. He smiled around the kiss. Now he just had to come up with a ring...
He was happy that Vikki had agreed to his suggestion. Teddy knew how the majority of the Weasley clan felt about the Malfoys, and Vic could be stubborn when she wanted to. But it was yet another reason he loved her so. He didn't think he could deal with a meek wife who never argued with him. Her spirit was part of what attracted him to her.
Besides, Teddy had a knack of knowing when people were sincere or not, and he had seen that the Malfoy boy...no, Scorpius, he told himself...truly cared for his future cousin-in-law. That love, and his intuition, was what made him a valuable asset to both the Order and the Death Eaters. Shaking his head to clear it, he asked Victorie, "Sweetheart, what's your ring size? And what kind of stone do you like, besides a diamond?"
He sighed. "I suppose. But I will miss sneaking off to see you during our breaks like a couple of schoolkids. That was always fun." Looking sad, Teddy asked, "So when are you going to give the headmistress your notice?" He nodded at her suggestion. "Hogsmeade it is then. I always loved that place, and you know how fond I am of Honeydukes and butterbeer." Then he kissed her again, his passion aflame.
((See the hospital wing for Teddy's reaction to the rejection. I thought it was quite good.))

Victorie let oout an "Oh" as she fell onto his lap. She then smiled as she leaned over and kissed his neck gently. She then smiled as she met lips with him and she felt his smile on hers. It felt good to see Teddy happy. She hadn't seen that in a very very long time. She hated that they had to be so secrative about them. She wanted the world to know about them. One day - they would.
Victorie knew he was lost in thought and she ran her hand over his back as she spoke, "We will protect them, Teddy. We have to. We can't elt them get hurt. They have...have...such a life before them." She took a deep breath thinking of the pair. she knew the two loved each other, and she knew the troubles that awaited Rose with ehr lover being a spy. She clung to Teddy a bit more as she leaned her head on his shoulder and whispered, "They have a long road ahead of them." Just as he finished Victorie smiled as she kissed his neck gently and spoke, "Seven and surprise me. You know the colors I like."
Victorie laughed a bit as she spoke, "Well, maybe I will jsut have to stop in often. I am sure the Headmaster wouldn't mind." She grinned with a laugh and then ran her hands over his neck as she whispered against it, "Tomorrow." She pulled away before things got too hot and heavy in his office as she spoke, "I will begin to look for a place this weekend then."

Teddy kissed the side of Victorie's neck as she fell into his lap. As she kissed him back, he smiled widely. He was hers and she was his. Nobody and nothing could change that. He wanted to shout it form the highest tower that Vikki had agreed to marry him, but he knew they had to keep it a secret. But one day...he would tell everyone.
He did indeed. He would surprise her with a beautiful diamond ring, with sapphires on either side of it. He told her softly, "Mine is an eleven. Surprise me as well." Teddy thought again of Scorpius and Rose at Vic's words. Nodding, he said, "Of course. We will be there for them always. And their relationship is proof that Gryffindors and Slytherins can make it work if they want to."
He sighed sadly. "I really feel bad for the pair. Their families are on opposite sides of the fence. I just hope they don't have to keep it a secret like us. But the Malfoy boy has made it clear he won't follow his father, so maybe not." As she pulled away, he stood before things reached a breaking point. Kissing her again, he said, "Let me know when you find a place, OK?"
Her engagement ring is the first one. Her wedding ring is the second one.

Victorie thought of the ring she wanted to get for him and she smiled in her own mind as she invisioned it. She shuttered as her skin met with his and she whispered, "Nothing too extravagant, Teddy. We don't want to over do it." She laughed a bit as she cuddled into his side and thought on his words of Rose and Scorpius. They had to protect them now that they were to hopefully carry out their secret. She sighed gently as she continued, "I wish I knew what to say, Teddy. I do not want them hurt." Vic heard him continue and then nodded as she spoke, "That would be ebst since he is not evil like him. I would hate to watch him go through the things I see you do. No person should have to endure that pain or secret." She stood and then looked to the love of her life before her as he also stood. She nodded as she spoke, "I will. I expect it to be easily found...and I have enough saved for a fairly nice place...We will be all right, Teddy." She leaned in and kissed him gently.

Teddy nodded to Vikki. "OK, Vic. And the same to you. Nothing too fancy, OK?" He sighed. Rose and Scorpius would be good Secret-Keepers, of that he was sure. But what he hated was that he was damning them to have to carry out their love in secret. He stroked Victorie's hair. "It will be alright. Even if the Malfoy boy...I mean, Scorpius...doesn't believe in the Dark Arts, he has no doubt been taught them by his father Draco. And he can use them if he has to. They will be OK."
Teddy just wished he could believe what he was saying. But hopefully it would comfort Victorie. "I do not want them hurt either. And I will wait for you to send an owl when you have found the place." He reluctantly pulled away from his love, giving her one last kiss and a hug as he did so. Then he turned around and opened the door, leaving Vic alone in his room. He had a lot to think about.
