Rose stared at the broken piece of gargoyle wing with wide eyes, then her eyes slowly going to Scorpius as she moved closer to Victorie. "You were almost crushed by that...be careful..." Rose whispered, blinking at him and reaching out to touch his arm. She almost flinched when he spoke of them dieing. She wasn't planning on dieing soon, and she would let hell freeze over before she let Scorpius die on her.
"You could keep the child at home until it can control itself, or even have Teddy say that he raped you and you never thought it could be his kid." Rose reasoned, hugging Victorie hoping that at least in some way she would be helping. "I'm so sorry Vikki." She whispered, placing a hand on Victorie's stomach and shaking her head. It was just so much to handle at one time. Vikki leaving, the baby, the war, Vikki and Teddy being in danger...It was almost too much just for Rose, she couldn't imagine how it would be for Victorie.

Victorie listened to Rose and her eyes went wide a bit...lie? Lie and say that Teddy raped her? Wouldn't that mean the Dark Lord would only want their child more then to hurt her? Would that be more danger? Victorie pushed her hair back with her hands as she spoke, "I would need more protection then ever if we told the world that, and I certainly wouldn't want to be leaving Hogwarts. Plus, who knows what the Dark lord would then ask Teddy to do to our son or daughter to try and hurt me."
Vic swore gently and burried her hands in her head as she spoke, "We can't tell anyone about the baby. I'm going to have to hide it was a concealment charm and use grandma as a midwife to take care of me and make sure I am taking the right vitamins and stuff. No one outside our family besides Teddy and Scorpius can know I am pregnant. Then once the baby is born we will have to hide him or her in the house. I can take leave for a little while from work...disappear myself to some extent to hide in the house."
It was the only way, and Victorie knew that. She would hide the baby for the next nine months then she herself would "disappear" from this world and run the Order through their home and only have trusted ones know she was alive and had a child. That was it...that was how it was going to have to be done - she thinks.

Scorpius was shocked. He thought if a Secret-Keeper or Keepers died, the secret died with them. Obviously though, that wasn’t the case. He dearly hoped, for Professor Weasley’s sake, that her baby didn’t get the Metamorphagi trait. That would seriously screw up their plans to hide, now wouldn’t it? But like he had said, it was a very dominant trait, and if he were Professor Lupin, he’d be making a back-up plan ASAP.
He looked surprised as the gargoyle broke. Having dodged just in time, he wasn’t hit by the falling wing. Thank Merlin for Seeker reflexes, he thought. If he had had his leg broken, if might have healed funny, and then he’d never walk, fly, or play Quidditch again. Rose whispered to him to be careful and Scorpius gave a slow smile. “Thanks. Rose.”
It was good to know that she cared. But then, Scorpius cared very deeply for Rose, and the Dark Lord would wear a pink tutu before he let Rose slip away from him. He listened to her suggestions and felt sick. How dare the Dark Lord tear up a perfectly good family-to-be? But that seemed to be what he was best at, the blond Slytherin reasoned. As Professor Weasley spoke again, he nodded. Sounded logical to him. Although he didn’t fancy her having to have the baby at home.

Rose threw her arms around Victorie and gave her a small squeeze. "Don't get hurt, Vikki, please don't get hurt. Don't let anything happen to my little nephew or niece either." Rose could feel the sting of tears in her eyes, only adding to her annoyance. At the very moment, she wanted to hex the dark lord for trying to pull Teddy and Vikki apart, and now she was crying and it was his fault. Poor Victorie...
Rose let go of Victorie tried to think of some way for it all to turn out right. She was supposed to be the smart one, she was supposed to be like her mother. What had her mother done? Found out ways for them to still come up on top. She had solved the puzzles, and this certainly was a puzzle if Rose ever saw one. Walking over to the edge of the tower, she looked down to ground. It was almost dizzying high... Looking at the horizon, Rose bit her bottom lip and pushed her mind. Victorie had seemed to come up with the best solution...for now. She knew her cousin though, she had to be doing something. Being locked up in a house wouldn't be good for her.
